Indigo has had another evening romping along the beautiful Seven Mile Beach behind her mum.

Now if Indigo's mum, Kathy ran 6 kilometres and Indigo ran back and forth between her running mum and her walking dad, I guess she must have run more than 10 kilometres on her little legs. Mind you she takes heaps of naps and that is easy here in the tranquil settings of Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park, where we have been staying for the past fewdays and just loving it.

When we travel, I have to keep an eye on Indigo’s weight, as she gets so much exercise she sure does not need 7-dfbx. I think she would prefer the chicken skin and the steak gristle tit bit table scraps and without these I think she would loss too much weight in her valiant attempt to keep both mum and dad company during these fun exercise sessions. If we see her getting tired, we do pick her up and carry her. J, she loves coming home from the beach, in dad’s arms.

If anyone has any ideas for helping a very active dog maintain weight, I would be interested in hearing them.

Hello Indigo!! My mummy told me about you, as I have just come back from a mobile home tour in NSW! I had never been on the road before and we stayed at the BEST place in Port MacQuarie called Marina Holiday Park. I even learnt to fish there can you believe!

I am a Maltese Cross and white with black ears. I too LOVE running on the beach, but the waves sometimes scare me, so I often just swim in the lake parts and bark at the waves.
Sounds like you are having a great time and my family are jealous - you are living their dream. Great to hear of some dog friendly places for me, as some places did not like me on our trip so Mummy made faces at them and found another park to go to hehe heee.

Hi Tobi :-).
I will take a look at that park you recommend. I think that is brave barking at waves, I bark at rocks, lol :-). I love putting my feet in the water, I don't do a lot of swimming though lol, got to save some energy to keep up with mum these days I am her fitness trainer, a very important job and when I'm not doing that I am dad's carer.
