The dag is barking. We have a mystery to unfold here. Indigo wants to go outside and bark at whatever is making noises on the roof and I am reading how to write and writing a whodunit. I am currently reading "How to write Killer Fiction" lots of it is repetitive of other writing books I have read (as they all are when you read a lot of them) it does give clear explanations of what is a whodunit and what is suspense and the difference between it. Might seem obvious but in this respect this book gives clearer guidelines to the genre than I've read before. So far an easy read that has kept me more interested than the Elements of Mystery Fiction which I left unfinished as it was beginning to bore me. Well that's my mini book review for mystery writers :-). Now what is thumping on my roof - sounds like a man walking - late at light - now there is a real mystery. lol :-)The Mentalist Dialogue www.fridgemagnetart.com_ I watched the mentalist and made a special point of writing down how many single word sentences were in the story and there were more than 100, that's about 2 a minute given add breaks. Hmm, OK, Uh... The Dog Barks at Mystery Noises. They sound too loud for a possum...I'm not going outside to investigate. Does your Dog Talk? 11/25/2011
So Reg and I are relaxing watching this gripping drama and Indigo starts throwing her food bowl around in the kitchen and barking at us, running to the cupboard and barking, throws the bowl once more and then comes barks again...Yes her food bowl was empty. Once we woke and she is standing in the kitchen sink barking at the tap...yes her water bowl was empty. lol. I am working hard writing my novel and taking the dog for a walk has been a great way to relax. I also love comedy and find loads of it on You Tube. You can get a free YouTube downloader easily. Yes she does go and scratch at the door and bark to demand to be let out. lol...She sure tries to give the orders and let us know if we ever slip up and do not preempt her needs. Dog Play 11/25/2011
I slowed down and watched s great movie tonight on TV. "The Client" Indigo took this as a cue for a ruff and tumble game with her favorite soft toy Mutley. Slept like a Dog :-) 11/22/2011
Would you love to be able to sleep like the dog and never be awakened by your bladder's needs? You are not alone. Even many pets need the doggy door available to them at night or some newspaper or a kitty litter tray close by. Not everyone can sleep all through the night. Indigo is so happy I bought myself new pillows. We both had our best sleep in months last night. She claimed my old pillows for herself. Incontinence can disturb the sleep of pets and their owners. Learning about urinary incontinence products. If you have incontinence or for that matter your pet has it, you do not have to live with it as a hidden secret. Speak to your doctor (for the pet, the vet) or even a physiotherapist. Public hospitals hold continence clinics where you receive sympathetic counseling, guidance and often treatment. Another thing to know is that incontinence is common and not only amongst the very young or old. It is also best to ask for advice when incontinence is in the early stages before it has become a handicap to your social life. We had a beautiful black poodle, she lived until ninteen years old and was never incontinent. Some pets just like people, can develop incontinence early in life so don't ever feel it is just an older persons problem or necessarily related to mature age. Medicating the Symptoms. 11/20/2011

Luxury hotel for dogs 11/19/2011
Do you and your dog like to holiday with RockyMountainTrail.com hiking backpacks or live in the lap of luxury in France? Here is a sample of the luxury end of the market for dog holidays. __VINCENNES – Heated pools, massage salons and a-la-carte menus are de rigueur at luxury hotels across the world but in one exclusive Paris establishment the difference is the guests: they have four legs, and enthusiastically wagging tails. Actuel Dogs bills itself as France’s first luxury hotel for dogs, and founders Devi and Stan Burun, a dog behavior specialist and lifelong dog-lover, also offer training programmes for unruly hounds and dog walks in the woods. _ As well as a dip in the pool, or a massage, guests including Ulysse, a bumptious yellow Labrador sporting a smart red collar, enjoy “doggy jogging”, or simply relax on cushioned couches in their luxury suites. Their tiled-floor rooms smell fresh and clean and are adorned with framed prints of dogs and equipped with televisions so dogs can watch their choice of dvds. Owners pay between 26 euros and 35 euros ($36-$48) to leave their lucky hounds for a full day and while the luxury touches appeal to owners, the key difference with traditional kennels is that dogs are not locked up in cages. “People think we serve the dogs’ food from silver platters but this is not pointless, extravagant luxury,” Devi said, as Clifford, an English bulldog, Cocker Spaniel puppy Floyd, Golden Retriever Cleo and miniature Schnauzer Belle bounded around the hotel’s games room, equipped with a treadmill for training. “It’s not like in the United States or Japan — giving the dogs manicures, dying their fur pink — that’s human madness. Our priority is to meet the dogs’ needs,” she added. The concept works partly because of its location, in the chic suburb of Vincennes, on the outskirts of Paris, and close to the woods. _ “People live in small apartments in Paris, they work, they don’t have time to walk their dogs. We respond to those needs,” Devi said. Devi and Stan also have an advantage over hoteliers who have to worry about human guests trashing rooms and stealing bathrobes — they evaluate their canine clients before their first stay, to weed out aggressive behavior. “The concept is human, but it’s completely adapted to a dog’s needs,” said Devi. Clifford, Floyd and their friends declined to comment directly to Reuters, but their wagging tails indicated their agreement. Dog Portrait Art Gifts 11/19/2011

_ ‘Red Dog’ has been ranked as one of Australia's top 10 Films of all time. Kriv Stenders’ family film has proven a huge hit at the box office. Koko the dog takes its place alongside the iconic Mick Dundee and loveable pig Babe as the film Red Dog becomes Australia's tenth most popular film of all time. Raking in over $17 million at the box office, the independent film beat out long-standing favourite, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, which previously held the number 10 spot with $16.45 million. "Priscilla is a favourite film of both the director and I so it is an honour to be in the same league," says producer Nelson Woss. "Making the top 10 Australian films of all time is a terrific result for the entire Red Dog team." The film follows the titular Red Dog as it inspires a remote Australian town in its epic search for its master. Directed by prolific Aussie filmmaker Kriv Stenders, the film has proven a hit with audiences and critics alike. Considering its budget (much smaller than many of the other big-budget productions on the list), it's a hugely impressive result and the production team see its position possibly improving. "We are one of only four independent films on the list," says Woss, "and there is still some life in ‘the dog' yet, so we may reach seventh or eighth place." The other films on the list of the ten highest grossing box officer earners include, in respective order, Crocodile Dundee, Australia, Babe, Happy Feet, Moulin Rouge, Crocodile Dundee 2, Strictly Ballroom, The Dish and The Man From Snowy River.
