I Love Blatherskite Park in Alice Springs, there is this  huge oval I can play ball on, this is my third year coming here for a few weeks.  I love it here because the nights are so cold, I get to wear my smart oil skin coat and look quite the local.  I am allowed to snuggle into bed with my human pets, it's too cold outside for snakes, ticks of flees and there are few burrs or grass seeds about int the areas I run around in.

I did see a small red spider and some interesting ants today in a rocky area in an industrial yard but was pulled away, not allowed to investigate...sigh.  But all things considered, it's a pretty good place with endless ball playing areas.  It's getting me fit.

You need a special reason to stay at this park, it could be because the caravan parks are full or your van is too large or because I barked too much and was turned away from the commercial caravan park. It's best to write ahead with a reason why you can't stay at a regular caravan park if you want to stay for more than 2 weeks as I like to.  For shorter periods just turn up during the short middle of the day office hours with your reason you don't fit in with the caravan park crowd, and you will most likely be accepted.

Fees are similar to the caravan parks and the standard of the amenities for your humans will vary depending where you are placed, but for the doggies, it is heaven of long leads and unlimited grass.
